Who we approve

We review every application by hand. We're not screening on follower count — a 600-follower account posting genuinely useful small-business content is worth more to us than 100,000 followers of unrelated reposts.

What we're actually looking for:

  • Real content you made, posted consistently enough that an audience exists.
  • An audience with some overlap with people starting businesses — creators, tradespeople, sellers, students, local business owners.
  • Nothing we'd be uncomfortable standing next to. We decline accounts built on harassment, hate, adult content, or get-rich-quick claims.

If we decline you, we'll tell you why, and you're welcome to reapply later.

How payment works

  • $1.50 per customer who subscribes to any paid plan through your link.
  • 90-day cookie window. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 90 days, it's attributed to you even if they leave and come back.
  • Paid monthly, once your balance clears $25. Below that it rolls over.
  • 30-day hold before a referral becomes payable, so refunds and failed cards settle first.
  • Paid by PayPal, Cash App, or bank transfer — your choice, arranged after approval.

You'll be able to see your click and signup counts, so the numbers aren't a black box.

Rules

  • Disclose it. Say it's a referral or affiliate link. This is required by the FTC in the US and by equivalent rules elsewhere — and it's just honest.
  • Don't promise things we don't do. No income guarantees, no invented features, no "get rich" framing.
  • No paid search on our brand terms. Don't bid on "EMPIRE site builder" or our domain in ads.
  • No spam. No unsolicited DMs at scale, no comment spam, no fake accounts.
  • No self-referral. Signing up your own accounts through your link isn't a referral.
  • Don't impersonate EMPIRE. You're an ambassador, not an employee or a reseller.

Breaking these ends the arrangement and forfeits any unpaid balance. We'd much rather just pay you.

Questions

Is there really no cost? None. No fee, no minimum spend, no product you have to buy first.

Do I need to be a customer? No — though people who actually use EMPIRE tend to be far more convincing about it.

What if a customer I referred cancels? If they cancel inside the 30-day hold, the referral doesn't pay out. After that it's yours.

How long does review take? Usually a few days. If it's been over a week, call or text 402-206-4827.

Can I use paid ads? Yes, except on our own brand terms. Any claim you make in an ad still has to be true.
