Plenty of platforms make leaving harder than joining. This page states exactly what we do with your domain, what it costs, and how you take it with you if you go.
You do. When EMPIRE registers a domain for you, it is registered in your name, with WHOIS privacy protection enabled, listing you as the registrant. CryptCode is not the owner and does not claim any interest in it.
This matters more than it sounds. Some providers register domains under their own account and hand you a licence to use it — which means leaving requires their cooperation. That is not how this works here.
Domain registration is billed separately from your plan, at cost, with no markup. A typical .com runs $10–15 per year. We pass through what the registrar charges.
Your monthly EMPIRE plan covers the platform — hosting, SSL, the builder, support. It does not include the registration fee, and we don't bundle it in order to obscure the price.
You don't have to transfer it. Keep it wherever it's registered and simply point it at EMPIRE:

There is no exit fee and no retention process. We will not ask you three times whether you're sure.
One rule isn't ours to waive: ICANN prohibits transferring a domain within 60 days of registration or within 60 days of a previous transfer. That applies at every registrar on earth, not just here.
Domains renew automatically so they don't lapse. You'll be notified before each renewal, and the charge is passed through at cost.
If your EMPIRE plan is cancelled, your domain does not disappear — it stays registered in your name for the remainder of its term. Only the site stops being served.
