EMPIRE / Site builder

Drag sections. Or write CSS. Both work.

The surface is simple enough that people who have never built a website finish one the same evening. Underneath it, there's enough control that a developer doesn't feel trapped.

Drag-and-drop sections

Add a section, drag it where you want, type your content. Hero, products, gallery, FAQ, testimonials, contact form, pricing, and more.

Depth

Custom CSS & head code

Drop in your own stylesheet, analytics tags, verification meta, or third-party embeds. No plan restricts this.

Control

Full DNS records

Add subdomains, connect custom email with MX records, verify third-party services. The records keeping your site online are protected from accidental deletion.

Two ways to start

From a template. Pick a starter built for your industry — bakeries, barbers, contractors, agencies, SaaS, and dozens more — each with a full page of realistic placeholder content already in place. Swap the words for yours and you're live.

From a blank canvas. Start with nothing and add exactly the sections you want, in the order you want them.

Either way you can switch your entire look later without losing content — the design and the content are separate.

Section types

Sections are the building blocks. Current types include:

  • Content — text blocks, lists, multi-column layouts, dividers, pull quotes
  • Proof — testimonials, statistics, logo marquees, FAQ accordions
  • Commerce — product grids, filtered collections, manual order forms
  • Capture — contact forms, newsletter signup, call-to-action banners
  • Media — image galleries, hero images, embedded video
  • Advanced — music studio embed, custom HTML

Selling

On Commerce and Dynasty plans you get a real cart and checkout. Add products with prices, photos, categories, and variant options like size or colour. Discount codes are built in.

Payments run through Stripe directly to your bank. Print-on-demand is optional — connect a design and orders are produced and shipped for you with no inventory.

Not ready for card payments? Use a manual order form instead: customers submit what they want and their address, you get an email, and you arrange payment yourself.

Music studio

An unusual one, included because customers asked: a multi-track browser studio. Record and layer audio, mix with EQ, reverb, pan and compression, and export a finished WAV.

You can also embed a project publicly on your site so visitors can play your mix and record their own take over it — useful for producers, studios, and anyone selling beats.

Bringing a site you already built

If you've already built something you like, upload it. Drop in a ZIP of your HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts, and EMPIRE serves it on your domain exactly as you made it — with the same managed SSL, DNS, and edge hosting.

Your builder design stays saved, so you can switch back at any time.
